Backed by an initial $250,000 digital buy, Clean Energy Forward ( http://www.cleanenergyforward.com/ ) aims to secure critical jobs, promote future economic growth, and continue efforts to reduce emissions at the lowest cost to the American taxpayer. The national Clean Energy Forward campaign will highlight the value of investments in clean energy to Republican members of Congress who have championed commonsense clean energy policies and will recognize the importance of these policies in reviving the economy and getting Americans back to work.
The campaign comes on the heels of CRES’ call on Congress to prioritize clean energy in stabilizing the economy and securing jobs. Clean Energy Forward will focus on Republicans in part because the majority of renewable energy in the country is produced in states President Trump carried in 2016.
